Compact Satcom terminal integrated into a vehicle for “On The Move” type mobility use.
It consists of an antenna and RF subsystem mounted on the roof of the host vehicle (protected by a radome). Supervision and baseband equipment are also integrated into the vehicle.
The antennas associated with this type of terminal have an equivalent diameter of around 0.3m (“low-profile” type antenna) with automatic pointing and tracking allowing a satellite link in motion even on uneven terrain.
