ACTIA Aerospace'S ILS APPROACH

ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) activities cover all of the study and implementation of the support system in order to meet the best availability and service life requirements of a station. The ILS manager coordinates ILS studies for preparation of through-life support services.

He is responsible for respecting the objectives of Dependability and Integrated Logistics Support and has authority over the activities leading to compliance with these objectives.

THE ACTIVITIES OF ILS

The activities of SLI (Integrated Logistics Support) cover all the activities of studies and implementation of the support system in order to best meet the requirements of availability, lifespan and Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO) system.

ILS activities include in particular:
  • Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety Assessment.
  • The sizing of spare parts.
  • The testability study aimed at defining fault finding flowcharts.
  • Maintainability study, identifying the time required for each preventive and corrective maintenance task.
  • The NATO codification.
  • Drafting of documentation (operator's manual, maintenance manual, training plan, replenishment documentation, etc.).
  • Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transport (PHS&T) specifications.
